What is the difference between a fire protection elevator and an ordinary elevator?

         Fire elevator usually have a perfect fire function, it should be a dual power supply, that is, in case of building work elevator power interruption, fire elevator very power can automatically switch the fire power, you can continue to run; it should have emergency control function, that is, when a fire occurs on the upper floors, it can be instructed to return to the first floor in a timely manner, but no longer continue to accept passengers, only available for the firefighters to fight the use of personnel.
Provisions with which fire elevators shall comply:
1. shall be capable of stopping at each floor in the area served;
2. the load capacity of the elevator shall not be less than 800 kg;
3. the power and control wires of the elevator shall be connected to the control panel, and the enclosure of the control panel shall have a waterproof performance rating of not less than IPX5;
4. at the entrance of the first floor of the fire fighting elevator, there shall be obvious signs and operation buttons for fire fighting and rescue personnel;
5. The combustion performance of the interior decoration materials of the elevator car shall be A grade;
6. the interior of the elevator car should be set up special fire intercom telephone and video monitoring system terminal equipment.

The number of fire-fighting elevators should be set up
Fire-fighting elevators should be set up in different fire protection zones, and each fire protection zone should not be less than one. Passenger elevator or freight elevator according to the requirements of fire-fighting elevator can be used as fire-fighting elevator.

Requirements of elevator shaft
A fireproof partition wall with fire resistance limit of not less than 2.00h shall be provided between the fire fighting elevator shaft and machine room and adjacent elevator shaft and machine room, and the door on the partition wall

shall adopt Class A fireproof door.
Drainage facilities shall be provided at the bottom of the well of the fire service elevator, and the capacity of the drainage well shall not be less than 2m³, and the drainage capacity of the drainage pump shall not be less than 10L/s. It is desirable to provide water-blocking facilities at the doorway of the front room of the fire service elevator room.

Electrical configuration requirements of fire elevator
The power supply for the fire control room, fire pump room, smoke prevention and exhaust fan room, fire-fighting electrical equipment and fire-fighting elevator shall be equipped with automatic switching device at the last level of distribution box of the distribution line.
