Elevator tips- Marine elevator
Marine elevator working climate environment is relatively bad, how to design?
(2) Three defense design of Marine elevator
Three anti-moisture design refers to anti-moisture, anti-salt spray, anti-mold design. Rivers, especially the sea climate environment changes greatly, so it is specifically mentioned in the Marine elevator standard, such as the working conditions of the Marine elevator “the relative humidity of the air is 95% and there is condensation”, “there is salt spray, oil mist and mold in the surrounding medium”. On the one hand, the humid environment will cause water vapor condensation, and directly cause the insulation resistance of the product to decrease, and the leakage phenomenon can occur. On the other hand, when components work in humidity, their moisture absorption effect will lead to changes in dielectric constant, increase dielectric loss, accelerate metal corrosion, and greatly reduce product reliability. The salt spray is a kind of aerosol, once the component surface formed a saline film adhesion, will accelerate the corrosion of metal materials, but also reduce the insulation resistance of electronic products. Mold is a fungus, can conduct electricity, it causes harm mainly include:
1. The insulation resistance and electrical strength of the product can be greatly reduced, and the mold on the miniature circuit board can short-circuit the lines;
2. Corrosion of metal materials and destruction of natural rubber parts;
3. The paint film will be penetrated and lose its protection.
The basic principle of the three-defense design is to use a sealed structure for the heavy parts and improve the component, material anticorrosion, insulation level, such as the motor, contactor, relay as far as possible to use Marine electrical appliances.
