Basic structure of traction elevator

       1 Traction system
The traction system consists of traction machine, traction wire rope, guide sheave and counterrope sheave.
The traction machine consists of motor, coupling, brake, reduction box, seat and traction sheave, which is the power source of the elevator.
The two ends of the traction rope are connected to the car and the counterweight (or the two ends are fixed in the machine room), relying on the friction between the wire rope and the rope groove of the traction sheave to drive the car up and down.
The role of the guide pulley is to separate the distance between the car and the counterweight, the use of rewinding type can also increase the traction capacity. The guide sheave is mounted on the traction machine frame or load bearing beam.
When the rope winding ratio of the wire rope is more than 1, additional counterrope sheaves should be installed on the car roof and counterweight frame. The number of counterrope sheaves can be 1, 2 or even 3, which is related to the traction ratio.
2 Guide system
The guide system consists of guide rail, guide shoe and guide frame. Its role is to limit the freedom of movement of the car and the counterweight, so that the car and the counterweight can only along the guide rail for lifting movement.
The guide rail is fixed on the guide rail frame, the guide rail frame is a component of the load-bearing guide rail, which is connected with the shaft wall.
The guide shoe is mounted on the frame of the car and the counterweight, and cooperates with the guide rail to force the movement of the car and the counterweight to obey the upright direction of the guide rail.
3 Door system
Door system consists of car door, floor door, door opener, linkage, door lock and so on.
The car door is located at the entrance of the car, which is composed of door fan, door guide frame, door boot and door knife.
The floor door is located at the entrance of the floor station, which is composed of door fan, door guide frame, door boot, door locking device and emergency unlocking device.
The door opener is located on the car, which is the power source for opening and closing the door of the car and the storey door.
4 car
The car is used to transport passengers or goods elevator components. It is composed of car frame and car body. Car frame is the load-bearing frame of the car body, composed of beams, columns, bottom beams and diagonal rods. Car body by the bottom of the car, car wall, car top and lighting, ventilation devices, car decorations and car manipulation button board and other components. The size of the space of the car body is determined by the rated load capacity or the rated number of passengers.
5 Weight balancing system
The weight balance system consists of counterweight and weight compensation device. The counterweight consists of counterweight frame and counterweight block. The counterweight will balance the dead weight of the car and part of the rated load. The weight compensation device is a device to compensate for the influence of the change of the length of the trailing wire rope on the car and counterweight side on the balance design of the elevator in the high-rise elevator.
6 Electric traction system
The electric traction system consists of traction motor, power supply system, speed feedback device, speed control device, etc., which controls the speed of the elevator.
The traction motor is the power source of the elevator, and according to the configuration of the elevator, AC motor or DC motor can be used.
The power supply system is the device that provides power for the motor.
The speed feedback device is to provide the elevator running speed signal for the speed control system. Generally, it adopts speed generator or speed pulse generator, which is connected with the motor.
The speed control device implements speed control for the traction motor.
7 Electrical control system
The electrical control system consists of manipulating device, position display device, control screen, leveling device, floor selector, etc. Its function is to manipulate and control the operation of the elevator.
Manipulation device includes button operation box or handle switch box in the car, floor station summoning button, maintenance or emergency control box on the car roof and in the machine room.
Control panel installed in the machine room, composed of various types of electrical control components, is the elevator to implement electrical control of the centralized components.
The position display refers to the floor lamps in the car and the floor station. The floor station can generally show the running direction of the elevator or the floor station where the car is located.
The floor selector can play the role of indicating and feeding back the position of the car, deciding the running direction, issuing acceleration and deceleration signals.
8 Safety Protection System
The safety protection system includes mechanical and electrical protection systems, which can protect the elevator for safe use.
Mechanical aspects are: speed limiter and safety clamp to play the role of overspeed protection; buffer to play the role of top and bottom protection; and cut off the limit of the total power protection.
The electrical safety protection is available in all operation aspects of the elevator.
